Score Big: Soccer Stars, Free Haircuts, Health Screenings & Fresh Produce at the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex!

The San Jose Earthquakes are teaming up with the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex to bring a vibrant day of health, wellness, and play to the Salinas community. Community Health Day takes place Saturday, July 26, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and all activities are free and open to the public.

This San Jose Earthquakes collaboration with the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex family-friendly event will include:

  • A free soccer clinic for kids ages 5–13, led by Earthquakes legend Shea Salinas
  • Free health screenings provided by Salinas Valley Health’s Mobile Clinic
  • Fresh produce giveaways from the Food Bank for Monterey County
  • Free kids’ haircuts, food, music, community booths, and more

“This is about more than just soccer,” said Jonathan De Anda, General Manager of the Salinas
Regional Soccer Complex. “It’s about bringing the community together in ways that support
physical health, emotional well-being, and family connection.”

The event is part of the San Jose Earthquakes’ Grow the Game campaign, and aims to expand
access to youth sports while celebrating local partnerships that support community health.
Interested organizations are invited to host a booth to share resources and connect with
families.
