INCLEMENT WEATHER
Weather Considerations
Field Closures and Lightning Safety
Our team, including the Manager and Operations Coordinator, keeps a close eye on the weather and field conditions. They have the authority to close any or all fields to ensure safety.
We also want you to be aware of our lightning safety procedures. If lightning is detected within a 5-mile radius, all games will be paused, and visitors must exit the gates and seek safe shelter. We have a 30-minute delay protocol for lightning, which restarts with each detected strike within the radius. Once it’s safe, our staff and event coordinators will reopen the fields so play can resume.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment at the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex. The safety of our players and the preservation of our fields are our top priorities.
