Welcome to the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex!

Welcome to the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex! Below is a map of our current facility, showcasing our fields, recreational areas, amenities, and current expansion construction area. Use this map to navigate the complex and make the most of your visit. Whether you’re here for a game, practice, or simply to enjoy the greenspaces, our map will help you find your way around and discover all that we have to offer.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

At the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex, we have your wellbeing in mind. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our visitors, we have guidelines in place for field use during inclement weather. Our goal is to keep our fields in top condition, so everyone can play on safe, high-quality surfaces. We appreciate your support in following and promoting these guidelines, thereby protecting both participants and fields during challenging weather conditions.

Weather Considerations

There are times when we may need to close fields, either because of the weather or to protect the playing surface. A few minutes on a wet and slippery field can cause serious damage that takes weeks or even months to repair. We know this can be inconvenient, but it’s all about keeping our fields ready for everyone to enjoy.

Field Closures and Lightning Safety

Our team, including the Manager and Operations Coordinator, keeps a close eye on the weather and field conditions. They have the authority to close any or all fields to ensure safety.

We also want you to be aware of our lightning safety procedures. If lightning is detected within a 5-mile radius, all games will be paused, and visitors must exit the gates and seek safe shelter. We have a 30-minute delay protocol for lightning, which restarts with each detected strike within the radius. Once it’s safe, our staff and event coordinators will reopen the fields so play can resume.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment at the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex. The safety of our players and the preservation of our fields are our top priorities.
