On behalf of our entire community at the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex, we sincerely thank you for considering making a donation. Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference and we are truly grateful for your support.

The Salinas Regional Soccer Complex has launched The Match, a $3 million campaign to build eight new soccer fields and complete the infrastructure required to meet growing demand.
Serving 16,000 people each week and projected to exceed 22,000 weekly users as expansion continues, the Complex has become one of the most heavily utilized and trusted community hubs in Monterey County.
Taylor Farms has pledged the first $1.5 million as a lead challenge gift, providing a powerful catalyst for the campaign. Every dollar contributed by the community will be matched, dollar for dollar, accelerating progress toward completion of the new fields and strengthening the Complex’s ability to serve families, support youth and women’s leagues, and host regional and state tournaments.
The goal is to raise the remaining $1.5 million in 2026 and complete construction by Spring 2027, moving the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex closer to becoming the largest sports facility of its kind between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
This is an invitation for leaders to stand alongside Taylor Farms and the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex, align their brands with one of the most visible and meaningful projects in the region, and be recognized as partners in a community investment that will serve Salinas Valley families for generations.

This fully lighted field is one of two turf fields planned for the expansion, the other being the Championship Field. These turf fields will be open year round, when our grass fields are closed for necessary maintenance or weather conditions. Currently, over 100 games are played on these fields every weekend, a number which we expect to grow with the expansion. These fields include seven fields for our 13 and up teams, three fields for the 11-12, two for the 9-10 teams, and two for the 8-and-under teams.
As part of our commitment to empowering women and girls in sports, the usage of these fields is (and will continue to be) free to kids’ and women’s leagues, thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners.
David and Lucile Packard Foundation Food Court
Investment COMMITTED
A dedicated gathering plaza that offers economic development and opportunity for small business food vendors during full days on the fields. It serves as the social anchor of major events and high-traffic weekends.
Sand Courts For Volleyball
and
Beach Soccer
Investment $1,000,000
These multi-use sand courts can be set up for either 8 beach soccer fields or 12 beach volleyball courts.
Volleyball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation, yet many young people in Salinas Valley lack regular access to beach play. These courts would bring that experience to them, offering more opportunities for movement and play.
Beach soccer is crucial for developing players aiming to elevate their game. “Sand training” enhances fine muscle development, aids in injury prevention, and builds endurance.

Blooming Together Fund
A Home for Dreams, and for All of Us
In the Salinas Valley, the rhythm of life is shaped by hard work, strong values, and deep family ties. Families here plant more than crops—they plant dreams. And for thousands of people every week, those dreams bloom on the fields of the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex.
This is not just a sports facility. It’s a place where young people chase goals on and off the field. It’s where families gather, friends reconnect, and generations move together in celebration of health, culture, and community.
More than 11,000 people use the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex every week—and that number continues to grow. Nearly all are Latino families—many with roots in agriculture—who are raising children, supporting loved ones, and striving for something better. What they find here is a space that honors who they are and who they want to become.
The Salinas Regional Soccer Complex is beautiful, clean, and open. It’s full of laughter, movement, and shared pride. Children play, grandparents walk, teens lead and coach, and parents watch with joy. It is a living example of what happens when a community creates a place for itself—not just to gather, but to grow.
Where community takes root, and opportunity blooms.
Health Begins with Access
Across Monterey County, families are working hard—but still facing serious health challenges. 70% of adults and 42% of children are overweight or obese, and nearly 50% of all adults are living with diabetes or pre-diabetes. Only 25% of youth meet the recommended levels of physical activity. At the same time, mental health needs continue to rise, particularly among young people. One-third of local youth report feeling emotionally overwhelmed or depressed—and access to care remains out of reach for many families.
That’s what makes the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex so vital. It offers families a safe, welcoming place to be active together. A game becomes a ritual. A weekend match becomes the highlight of the week. And a kick becomes a goal.
And in that shared space, health takes root—not through obligation, but through joy. Families who gather here are investing in their own well-being, one step, one pass, one laugh at a time.
Where Futures Are Forged
Soccer is more than a pastime in the Salinas Valley—it’s a passion passed from one generation to the next. And for young people, it can be a pathway.
National data shows that students who play organized sports perform better in school, are more likely to graduate, and have greater long-term earning potential. They build confidence, resilience, and leadership. They learn what it means to show up—not just for their team, but for their lives.
The Salinas Regional Soccer Complex makes those outcomes possible—not just for a few, but for many. These are world-class fields, maintained to professional standards, yet open to the community. Access to fields is free for kids’ teams and women’s leagues. That means cost isn’t a barrier. Geography isn’t a barrier. Opportunity blooms here—and it’s for everyone.
Young athletes here don’t have to leave town for top-tier play. They don’t have to miss out on scouting opportunities. They grow their skills on the same fields used for tournaments and showcases, right in their own hometown.
And their families are right there with them—cheering from the sidelines, walking the path around the fields, sharing meals under the sun. It’s not just youth development or a casual pastime. It’s community development, rooted in culture and love.
A Place to Take Pride In
The Salinas Regional Soccer Complex is a source of pride because it reflects the very best of our community—commitment, care, and collective progress. Families return each week not only because it’s fun, but because it’s theirs. Of the community, for the community, funded by the community and your generous support. It’s a place where the surroundings match the spirit of the people who use it: vibrant, grounded, and full of potential.
This is what the Fondo Florenciendo Juntos supports: a space where young people blossom, where health blooms—body and mind—and where the roots of opportunity are nurtured every day. The name means “Blooming Together Fund”—and that’s exactly what this place is.
How to Help It Grow
Your support of the Fondo Florenciendo Juntos ensures this vital space continues to flourish. Every contribution helps keep the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex safe, beautiful, and accessible for more than 11,000 people each week as it continues to grow. Every gift helps protect free access to our heritage fields for children and women. Every dollar keeps this place strong—for today’s families and for the generations to come.
Whether you give $5, $15, $25, or more—every gift makes a difference. All donors to the Fondo Florenciendo Juntos will be recognized on our website. You can make your contribution using the donation form on this page or in person at the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex.
Our business sponsors, nonprofit partners, local government, and individual community members have helped us carry the project a long way. But the highest peak in our journey is still in front of us: completing the final and most costly phases of construction. That’s why donor support is essential—YOUR support!
When you contribute, you’re not just helping raise a building or sod a field or install a bleacher. You’re giving families and neighbors a safe place to spend more time together. You’re enabling prosperity by creating jobs and launching new small-business ideas. You’re making it possible for residents to get moving, get healthy, and raise active children who do the same. Perhaps more than anything, you’re funding the future, reaching far into generations of young talent to nurture greater wellness, better opportunities, and bigger dreams—because our goal is more than just soccer.
