This Summer, Salinas Regional Soccer Complex becomes a launchpad for young
athletes eager to grow their skills, confidence, and love of the game. A dynamic lineup of
summer events will bring together professional coaches, inspiring role models, and
ample training opportunities, all designed to uplift local youth and create meaningful
pathways in sport and beyond. For many participants, these events also represent a rare
chance to be scouted – continuing a pattern seen in past tournaments and clinics where
young talent from Salinas has been recognized and recruited by elite programs. These
events reflect the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex’s mission to promote health,
opportunity, and connection through sport.
Monterey Bay Football Club Soccer Camp
July 7–11, 2025 | 9 a.m.–12 p.m. (Mon–Fri)
Ages 5–15
Presented by Monterey Bay FC, this five-day camp offers young players 15 hours of
expert coaching, game-play drills, and player engagement. Each participant receives a
camp t-shirt, entry to the MBFC walk-out tunnel experience, and two tickets (plus
parking) to the club’s October 18 match against Pittsburgh.
Chevron Soccer Academy Clinic
July 12 & 13, 2025 | 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Ages 9–15 | Free with registration
The Chevron Soccer Academy provides a dynamic mix of soccer skill stations and
STEM-based learning experiences. This nationally recognized clinic offers young players
an opportunity to grow both on and off the field.

San Jose Earthquakes “Grow the Game” Community Event

The Earthquakes return to Salinas with their “Grow the Game” initiative—part of the
Quakes Foundation’s effort to expand youth access to the sport in underserved
communities across Northern California. This free event blends fun, skill development,
and positive role models for kids of all backgrounds.

- Wellness Resource Zone with community organizations

The Alianza Cup
August 9–10, 2025
The Salinas Regional Soccer Complex will proudly host the Alianza Cup, one of the
largest Latino soccer tournaments in the country. Presented by Alianza de Futbol, the
two-day tournament draws top youth and adult talent from across the western U.S.,
elevating Salinas’ role as a destination for high-level competition and sports tourism. The
event also includes music, food, and vendor booths—creating a festive atmosphere for
the entire community.
